What should I know? 

Electrical Standards Bodies require the electrical installation to meet the specific provisions of the standards in touring caravans, motorhomes and camper conversions, to ensure the safety in use of electrical and protective equipment.

What will I learn? 

Relevant and specific provisions within caravan, motorhome and campervans including the proper design, construction, verification and certification of the 230V and 12V electrical installations.

How long is the course? 

This course lasts 28 hours (4 days) and covers British and European legislation, electrical design, electrical installation, initial verification, electrical testing and test instruments, and certification; for both the 230V and 12V electrical systems.

Who is suitable for such training? 

Anyone who manufactures and/or converts touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans.

Do I need previous electrical knowledge or training? 

No, the course is open entry and takes account of a person’s previous experiences.
